thyssenkrupp bags Paradeep Phosphates contract

thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions has recently been awarded a contract from Paradeep Phosphates (PPL) for the expansion of their phosphoric acid plant in Paradeep, Odisha, based on the di-hydrate technology from Prayon Technologies of Belgium. PPL is a leading fertiliser company in India and part of the Adventz Group.

Vedanta to double copper capacity by 2019

Vedanta will invest up to Rs 3,000 crore in copper operations to double the capacity to 8 lakh tonne by 2019, making the firm India?s largest producer of the metal.
